WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a People & Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team of around 45 Recordlians while our People & Talent Acquisition Lead is on family leave. Therefore, this role is a fixed-term family leave cover from June 2025 until October 2026. The position allows for either 80% or 100% working time, this will be determined by mutual agreement. Depending on Recordly’s growth, there may be an opportunity for a contract extension or permanent position later on.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of both HR operations and Talent Acquisition, ensuring we attract, hire, and retain the right people by creating an amazing employee experience. Fostering an engaging and supportive environment for our Recordlians is a key part of making Recordly a great place to work, and you'll play an active role in shaping that experience. The focus will likely be around 70% on HR and 30% on Talent Acquisition, but this may vary depending on business needs.
Your focus in this role will be on the following:
Handling operational HR tasks, such as payroll and benefits administration, health and safety matters, maintaining HR records (in Personio), reporting, and managing employment contracts
Enhancing the employee experience by ensuring Recordlians feel supported and engaged. You are truly passionate about working with people and enjoy spending a lot of time with our employees
Coordinating learning and development initiatives, helping employees grow and develop within their roles, as well as performance management
Overseeing compensation and recognition, ensuring a fair and competitive rewarding system that aligns with our culture
Ensuring HR compliance by keeping policies up to date and offering guidance on employment laws and regulations
Aligning people strategies with overall business objectives by working closely with our CEO Katriina Kiviluoto, COO Rauno Paukkeri and all our other amazing Recordlians
Walking the extra mile to provide an outstanding candidate experience for our candidates (and hopefully soon-to-be Recordlians) and planning and implementing sourcing strategies to enable a robust talent pipeline
Performing administrative recruitment tasks such as creating job postings, ensuring our ATS (Teamtailor) is up to date, preparing offers and onboarding, and reporting
Taking part in planning the overall EB strategy, executing plans and supporting in shaping our EVP in cooperation with our Marketing Lead Michaela Holmström. We’re open to some crazy ideas, so hit us with your best guerrilla marketing concepts!
Taking care of the office and organizing events
We’re a bit biased in saying this, but we really do think this is a pretty cool opportunity. And rumor has it we’re a pretty fun bunch to work with. We’re looking for a person who has the potential to grow and learn new skills, not a unicorn.
We expect you to:
Have experience with the previously mentioned HR tasks and end-to-end tech recruitment, we’ll get extra excited if you have experience from the tech consulting industry
Be used to getting your hands dirty with combining core HR tasks with talent acquisition matters in a fast-paced environment. Sometimes our plans change quickly and we go left instead of right, so it would be great if you’re flexible and easily adapt to new situations
Work in an effective and organized way, but you like to have fun while doing it and don't take yourself too seriously
Thrive in an environment that values initiative and encourages you to take responsibility and explore new approaches
Find the world of data & AI interesting, and you’re eager to learn more from our experts
Have strong verbal and written communication skills in both Finnish and English. Please note that currently we cannot offer relocation support
Be onsite at the Helsinki office approximately 2-3 days per week, and occasionally visit our Tampere office as well. However, some longer remote work stints are occasionally possible!
