NOW TO THE ROLE ITSELF
We are recruiting a Marketing Lead to drive our ambitious business goals. Being responsible for marketing, you will be working in a high-impact role at the core of our business. At Recordly, we believe that marketing and sales are a joint effort. Marketing is not an add-on; it’s at the core of our commercial activities. Therefore, in this internal marketing role, you will work in tight collaboration with the new sales team.
We also believe marketing plays an active role in making our company values visible to our future employees, so we hope you enjoy working with employer branding in cooperation with our People & Talent Acquisition Lead Milla. And maybe even lending a helping hand to our recruitment team occasionally to support them with sourcing activities.
For Recordly’s Marketing Lead, a growth hacking mindset is essential. You have the skills and courage to investigate and execute small experiments and bold moves. Reaching buyers and users in different channels, both digital and IRL, is something you excel at. You leverage your expertise to craft targeted campaigns that engage audiences effectively. You have a solid understanding of digital marketing through extensive hands-on experience and by following the latest trends. You are used to planning and executing digital marketing campaigns (social media, email – you name it) from start to finish. You may have experience in graphic design, but at least you know how to create needed material, such as landing pages and downloadable documents. Since we work in the tech industry, we hope you are somewhat familiar with data and AI-related matters so that you can curate credible content. But no worries if you don’t know everything by heart already – we’re here to help. We’re looking for a person who has the potential to grow and learn new skills, not a unicorn.
By nature, you should be analytical and like to solve problems. You can bring clarity to uncertain situations, and you know how to analyze the results of your work by deriving business insights from data. You are ambitious and results-oriented in everything you do, but you like to have fun as well. To be successful in this role, you should have working proficiency in Finnish as well as excellent written and oral skills in English. Please note that we cannot currently offer relocation support.

Skills and traits we expect you to have:
- Ability to see outside of the box, allowing for creative solutions that drive new approaches and strategies
- Ability to identify business opportunities and challenges, and create an actionable plan for solving them
- You are independent, curious to learn new things, and not afraid to take responsibility
- Interest in marketing technologies, PR, employer branding, and talent acquisition as well as video production and photographing
- A keen visual eye with the ability to create visually appealing content that aligns with our brand identity across various channels
- Working proficiency in Finnish and excellent written and oral skills in English
We expect hands-on experience in the following:
- Digital marketing/sales, lead generation, customer acquisition, and nurturing
- Content curation/creation – preferably from the tech industry and in English
- General web analytics and communicating insights
Additional hands-on experience in some of the following:
- SEO (content and technical)
- Marketing automation platforms (e.g. Hubspot)
- CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot)
- Sales development

In regards to the timeline, we hope our new Marketing Lead will be kicking off the year with us in January.
